The Meal In a Barrow Festival - We had to produce food growing in a barrow that could be made into a meal - our plants were to make a vegetable curry - potatoes/carrots/chilli/coriander/garlic.  WE had to produce a vegetable curry recipe.  Our barrow was on show at the NEC BBC Gardeners World and Food Show. Mrs Jones, Ruth from Forest Schools and some of the gardening club attended for the day.

Year 1 & 2 Multiskills Festival

On the 1st and 4th March, all the children in years 1 and 2 travelled to Billesley Indoor Tennis Centre to compete against other schools in a multiskills festival. They took part in ten events that tested their balance, coordination, aim, speed and teamwork.

Year 1 beat seven other schools to come first overall and Year 2 came second out of seven schools.

When the points were added together Conway was first overall!!

The children will receive a Year 1 shield and an overall winners shield that they will be able to defend next year.

Well done to all the children involved, your behaviour and teamwork were outstanding.
