Spellings
Spellings are given out on Friday and children are expected to learn them at home.
The spelling test is on Thursday.
PE and Swimming
3S - PE is on Wednesday and Friday.
3K - Swimming on Tuesday and PE on Wednesday.

History - Ancient Greece
Through this unit the children will learn about Ancient Greece in detail; location on the map, landscapes, how it was divided into city states before moving onto how the city states were ruled. The children will learn about how the city states differed from each other, with the main differences being way of life, trade, rulers and education. They will also learn about their beliefs, way of life and finally, the link between Ancient Greeks and the modern day Olympics.
Science - Animals inc. Humans
Through this unit the children will be able to :-
Identify that animals, including humans, need the right types
and amount of nutrition, and that they cannot make their own
food and they get nutrition from what they eat.
Identify that humans and some other animals have skeletons
and muscles for support, protection and movement.
