How to Stay Safe at School

Parent/ school meetings and communication

As part of our continuing focus on keeping everyone as safe as possible, we unfortunately cannot have parents/ carers on the school site.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to meet with parents/ carers face to face – this will be arranged by school leaders.

If you would like to speak to the school, please either contact the class teacher via the class email, or contact the school office on 0121 675 0622.

The lines are often very busy before 9.30 a.m. and so we advise calling after this.

As a health and safety measure, parents/ carers will not be allowed into the main reception area, so please do not attempt this.

Please call the office to arrange a meeting.

Appointment times are between 9:15- 9:45 in the morning and 2:30-3:00pm in the afternoon.

We will continue to contact parents/ carers via ParentMail, MME app and through our school website -

Handwashing and ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’

Children will continue to wash their hands on a regular basis throughout the day

This has been built into the school timetable and is now a part of the school day.

Please help us by reminding children to wash their hands on a regular basis at home and the importance of catching any coughs or sneezes in either a tissue or the crook of their elbow.
