Easter Fun!

Easter Fun 2020 is here!

Easter Fun is a holiday activity programme for families. 15 days of games, challenges, investigation, physical activities and crafts has been planned by Active Leaders, starting on Monday 6th April.

All activities have been adapted so they can take place indoors, in gardens and within families. Craft activities encourage the re-use of everyday items.

This is all timed to coincide with the start of most state school holidays, offering a daily programme of activities and resources in one place, which it is hoped will make it easier for families to continue adhering to the Government’s social distancing and stay at home guidelines.

The activity schedule and all resource cards will be available the day before each activity day at: https://www.activeleaders.co.uk/daily-activities and on the Active Leader Facebook page.

Families can look forward to 5-a-day fitness challenges, active games, building games equipment, playgrounds, forts and dens from cardboard boxes, undertaking nature and science investigations and taking part in Famolympics.

Active Leaders’ daily games and challenges have now reached over 10 countries worldwide and attracted audiences of all ages and abilities. Recipes for Fun offering a bespoke games-making service have been requested from those who have very little equipment and space.

Penny Snowden who founded Active Leaders said: “Our trained Active Leaders wanted to do something to help everyone fight this virus, without people having to leave their homes. We are used to helping people lead fun games and activities in parks and playgrounds, so we have adapted our ideas and activities to provide fresh inspiration for everyone and fun for the whole family to enjoy at home. We want to thank all those who are working so hard to keep us safe.”
