Dear Parents,
Free School Meal Vouchers - February Half Term
Birmingham City Council
Birmingham City Council are supporting schools with access to supplying free school meal lunches for those pupils who are eligible for free school meals. The amount they have allocated is £15.00 per pupil for those who are eligible.
Following on from Government guidance, Sodexo are here to help authorities, schools, parents and pupils access free school lunches by supplying supermarket eVouchers, that can be spent locally to you.
Parents need to go to www.vouchershopexchange.co.uk and enter their cheque number and validation code.
Parents then chose which supermarket eVoucher they would like, you must spend your full cheque value at once. Parents then complete the form with their email address and submit the order.
The eVoucher is sent to parent’s email address, you can then spend it instore by presenting your mobile, showing the email with the eVoucher or a print out of the voucher.
We will be emailing parents, who we hold email addresses via ParentMail, this week with the cheque number and validation code for their child(ren). Please check your emails to ensure that you have received it.
For parents who we do not have email addresses: a SMS text will be sent out this week to the mobile number you have registered with ParentMail, with the cheque number and validation code for their child(ren).
If you require assistance, school will print out the vouchers(s) for you, please contact Mrs Bowater at the School Office. if you require this service.
Please be patient as we want to get the accurate codes to parents.
Further guidance can be found here.
Kind regards
Mrs N Mills
(Interim) Head of School
