SCHOOL CLOSED TO ALL PUPILS AND STAFF ON MONDAY 25TH JANUARY DUE TO THE ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS - ALL LEARNING WILL BE DONE REMOTELY INCLUDING KEY WORKER, VULNERABLE CHILDREN, EAL AND HIVE GROUPS
Hello lovely Hive children, sorry that we can't all be in school together. Here is some work that you can complete today (Tuesday), along with the worksheets in your packs. We hope you have a great day and enjoy your activities! Missing you.
Look at our Bumblebees Star for some useful Makaton song videos, sensory music and information about the technique of 'Intensive Interaction', which we use with some our Bumblebee pupils.
This the story of 'why Monkeys Swing in the Trees. You can watch this version of the story, or the youtube version on the website. Then you can make a simple story board by dividing a piece of blank paper into 4, then deciding on the most important events in the story. You need to draw a picture for each of the events and then write a sentence or two to explain what is happening in the story, e.g. The three naughty monkeys pulled the tail of the crocodile and made him very angry! The rain poured very hard, so the monkeys climbed into the Mango tree to escape the deep water.
